We
acquired Danny from Hunter
Wilcox at 6 months old. It was
apparent from the first time he
was let off leash, that his ½+
mile cast and subsequent running
the horizon for the next hour,
that he was built to run the
prairies. Ben Garcia began his
training and together they won
multiple Derby placements. Danny
then spent a year with
Fred Dileo
for training. Fred was able to
put an excellent handle on him.
We brought him back to Colorado
and Ben Garcia to prepare for
the American Pointer
Championships, where Danny did
earn a 3rd placement in the Open
Championship.
Danny was sent to Jamie Daniel’s
2009 summer camp. The two of
them have definitely become the
team. Danny has begun to turn
heads and make his presence
known. This team is pushing the
winners hard with everyone
anticipating good things in the
future.

Sunshine Trial - October 31, 2009: King Cotton (Gates )
and Just Wait N’See were away at 1:35
p.m. Both were showing well to the
front, Wait N’See scored to the left at
15. At 20 both were pointing to the
right of the course on separate coveys.
All was in order for these stands.
Cotton suffered an unproductive at 25,
then scored again at 35. They continued
to impress until Cotton was last seen at
50. At pickup point was called for Wait
N’See. Daniels put them up for a nice
finish to an impressive hour. Scribe:

Maters Open Quail
Championship
Albany, GA, March 6, 2010
Both
BB’S Pike (Warren) and Just Wait N’See
(Daniels) started well showing to the
front. Point was called by scout for
Pike at far right in corner of old air
strip. Birds were put to flight with
everything in order. Both dogs showed
well on power line and after a huge cast
Wait N’See was found on point for to the
front. Birds were well located with
everything in order. Pike continued to
hunt at good range and both finished
well. Scribe: Woody Watson. |
